The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regard to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area regularly. The support issue made for intervention activities a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and improve usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
